If I do still need it, do I install embedded Java SE 8 using the same instructions as for the original MinimServer or will this interfere with the embedded Java in MinimServer2? So, I then tried to install the latest BubbleUPnP Server on the NAS but it failed with "Java is not installed or not properly configured. I wasn't sure whether this meant that I didn't need BubbleUPnP Server on the NAS with MinimServer2 so I installed BubbleUPnP on the phone again but it doesn't see the library or the renderer. Jai perdu bcp de temps en essayant toutes les solutions pour exploiter au mieux UPnP (Minimserver / BubbleUPnP configuré au mieux) et aucun interet vs LMS. OpenHome compatibility to your UPnP/DLNA. The installation notes said that at this point I "you should be able to see your MinimServer library in a UPnP control point". entre environnement LMS et UPnP y a pas photo pour moi. BubbleUPnP Server provides: Secure and bandwidth friendly Internet access to your home UPnP/DLNA Media Servers. I can see the MinimServer object in File Explorer on my laptop and open it and see the CD tracks fine. The logfile shows some warnings with track data and playlists but finished with "running". They connect up OK and I presume the scan was all OK as it changed to "running" after a little while. I then installed MinimServer2 on the NAS and MinimWatch2 on the laptop. I also uninstalled MinimWatch from my laptop and BubbleUPnP from my phone. I decided to do a nice clean installation so uninstalled BubbleUPnP Server, then MinimServer and then Java SE, electing not to keep the config files from each one as I uninstalled. I then read that MinimServer 2 was now available for all Synology NASes and didn't need to separately install Java.

I restarted BubbleUPnP Server on the NAS and it started OK without any error but I still couldn't see anything except "Local Renderer" for renderer and "Local and Cloud" for library. I had horrible flashbacks of the efforts to get it installed properly in the first place. MinimServer, on the other hand, has been built in a more flexible fashion: using its intelligent browsing mechanism you can select genres, composers and other fields to progressively narrow down the results. I restarted BubbleUPnP Server and a message flicked momentarily up about needing to reinstall Java. Broadly, most UPnP media servers approach library browsing from the traditional artist / album / track hierarchy.

I could no longer see my library or renderer in the BubbleUPnP control point on my Android phone. I could happily see my MinimServer music library and OpenHome renderer to send music to the Sonore Signature Rendu streamer in my hifi system.Ī couple of days ago the NAS auto updated to DSM 6.2.3-25426 overnight (from the immediately previous update). Until 2 days ago I had been using older MinimServer and BubbleUPnP Server on the Synology DS212 NAS, with Bubble UPnP on the Android smartphone as control point. I have tried upgrading to 0.5, which gave me other problems, but didn't fix the GPM long track problem.Hi, I'm hoping that someone may be able to help me get my MinimServer system running again. I am still on RuneAudio 0.4, with MPD of 0.19.13, which Bubblesoft says is old. This file can be downloaded with File Station.

GPM will play the same tracks via its own player apps, or the web player, and also via BubbleUPnP with Bubble as the renderer in Android. If you get the server to become unresponsive, you can send the /volume1/homes/bubbleupnp/appData/BubbleUPnPServer.log.0 log file to.

The same problem occurs if I stream from GPM to foobar200 on Windows via BubbleUPnP, so it isn't just RuneAudio as a renderer which is causing the problem. The developer for Bubblesoft is critical of GPM servers, and indeed this isn't a problem if I play the same tracks from Qobuz. These typically get to about 3 mins and then abort the track. However, I have recently started to have a problem with GPM and long tracks (>10mins). I find this a very convenient way to manage the now-playing queue, mixing tracks from my own music in Minimserver, with tracks from GPM. I have been using Google Play Music (GPM) for a while now, as a UPnP music server, supplying RuneAudio as a UPnP renderer, using BubbleUPnP as the UPnP control point, and as a proxy server for GPM.
